The Cedar Street Grille food was delicious. I had a gluten free lobster sandwich a special of the day. I also had a house salad with pickled onions delicious. The menu has shareable and mini entrees and entree sized options. It was a great place for lunch or dinner.

My wife and I came here for our third wedding anniversary. Our server Rachael was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us a great recommendation. The food was incredible, the wine was delicious, and we ended with the lemon curd cocktail. We were very pleased and glad we decided to come back after our first trip two years ago. We definitely recommend Cedar Street grille for a date night, a celebration, or just to enjoy quality food and service.

I recently hosted my daughter's bridal shower here. I am from out of town and booked the space sight unseen (except for the website pics). I could not have been happier. I worked with Danielle via email and she answered all of my questions. It could not have been easier. Such a pleasant experience. I was thrilled to see how absolutely beautiful the space was on the day of the event. Lexi was our server for the day, and she was so wonderful, so polite and helpful. She was there from set up until the end of the event and she couldn't have been nicer. Cole was our bartender for the event, and he was extremely pleasant and helpful as well.
The steak tips were amazing as was the rest of the food. The day could not have gone more smoothly. It was absolutely perfect and the staff really made the experience that much better.

I brought my niece to celebrate her seventh birthday at Avelino's, along with her sister. Our waitress, Morgan, was amazing, she was friendly, attentive, and really went out of her way to make the dinner special for my nieces. The girls were curious by the upstairs restaurant that we decided to go up to the Duck for dessert. Our server and everyone upstairs were also so nice and friendly .
The staff even came out to sing happy birthday, and my niece absolutely loved it. All in all, everyone at both Avelino's and the Duck was incredible and made her birthday so special.

Choosing The Barn at Wight Farm for our wedding was the absolute best decision we made. From the moment we started planning, their team took so much of the stress out of the entire process. They are incredibly responsive and professional, but what truly sets them apart is their spectacular team. Maggie was an absolute superstar. She accommodated every single request we threw her way.... from handling our detailed decorations and food preferences to coordinating our venue visits and rehearsals. She made sure everything ran flawlessly. The venue itself is beautiful, and the bridal suites are incredible. They are exceptionally clean, spacious, and provided the perfect, comfortable environment for us to get ready. The food was OUTSTANDING. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the meal was! The food came out incredibly fast, and every single dish was served hot and cooked perfectly. You know you picked a top-tier venue when all of your other wedding vendors are genuinely thrilled to hear they get to work there. The Barn at Wight Farm has an amazing reputation in the industry for a reason. We cannot thank Maggie and the rest of the staff enough for making our wedding day so seamless and unforgettable. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the barn at Wright Farm last summer and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The barns and grounds are beautiful, with so many locations for portraits

Wow! We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our meal! We had the best service by Will, he was so attentive, helpful and just had a great personality. We loved our lamb hand pies, bartenders cocktail and Mediterranean Mac. We highly recommend getting one of their desserts, their blueberry panne cotta was incredible.

So I would Higly recommend this restaurant. Excellent all the way around.

We were 4 ladies & sat at a table in the lounge. We had the best Waiter, Will. Met 3 lovely ladies, we laughed & shared stories with, even food.
I would definitely go back there again !

We walked in and someone walked by us, didn’t acknowledge us, we didn’t know if you sat yourself or what. When we wandered toward a counter at the back, we asked the same server do you seat yourself anywhere, or? She directed us to the counter told us to order there, then they would bring the food out to where ever we sat.
Pros: Drink menu was extensive. Water with lemon and herbs provided at self serve station.
Cons: very expensive for what you actually get. $53 (including tip) for two basic sandwiches and two drinks. Place was dirty. Food all over the floor where we sat, looked at other tables to see some similar situations. Our table top was sticky and gross. I wiped it off myself, noticed a few other vacant tables that were the same.
Our experience wasn’t worth it. Town was dead because its Fourth of July weekend, many places were closed. Thought we’d try it being local. Won’t go back. Not worth the $.

My husband and I got married at The Barn at Wight Farm this past weekend in the Winthrop Room and it was the most perfect day. From start to finish, communication with the entire team was on point, the rehearsal dinner was incredible, the bridal suite the day of was the perfect place for me and my ladies to get ready, and the entire staff were absolute angels! The food is incredible, and from reception to ceremony, there was zero issues or stress! June 27th 2026 will be a day we will remember for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much for everything! Enjoyed a nice lunch there. We both ordered the sliders w/bacon and a side of fries. The sliders were juicy and flavorful and the fries were piping hot to the table.
Will, our server, was very attentive and helpful, making our first visit there pleasant.
Parking was tough though. After finding nothing open in the back, it was a difficult turnaround to go park across the street. Only one handicap space as well, which seems difficult given the size of the restaurant.

The cutest local coffee shop! Atmosphere was great, staff is so helpful and friendly. Their pancakes are amazing!

Cedar Street Café is one of those places that makes a fantastic first impression. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was charming, and every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly. If I were rating based solely on quality, this would be an easy five stars.

The only problem is that time appears to move differently inside this building.

We arrived for breakfast and somewhere between ordering and receiving our food, I believe several geological eras passed. Continents may have shifted. A small civilization may have risen and fallen. I arrived with a crew cut and left looking like an 80s hair metal guitarist.

To be fair, the food was absolutely worth eating once it arrived. Nothing seemed rushed, and maybe that's part of the charm. But if you're stopping in because you're hungry right now, I'd recommend bringing a fully charged phone, a paperback novel, and perhaps a contingency plan.

Again, the staff were wonderful, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food was excellent. My only complaint is the speed of service. Maybe we caught them on an unusually slow day or 90% of the staff called out sick. If so, great. If not, show up early for breakfast, and your food may arrive in time for tomorrow's breakfast.

I'd absolutely go back. I'd just arrive an hour before I expect to be hungry.

Attended a beautiful baby shower at this location. The venue is gorgeous with cobblestone walkways and open spaces for hosting. The brunch buffet was delicious as well as the mocktails.

1st time here and it was great!! The server was spectacular! Engaged us in conversation, met my nieces needs with a smile and level of service you see at high end restaurants!! There were 7 of us and felt like we were in someone's home!! I wish I remembered her name!!

It’s below average, the customer service and atmosphere were the most enjoyable parts. Menu lacks items and variety, food seems to be unseasoned and they give you VERY few breakfast potatoes. There was about a 5-10 minute wait time and they have outside seating which is nice. Cedar street cafe is subpar in my opinion compared to most breakfast joints however the customer service and atmosphere are excellent. In short, walk don’t run.

My friend recommended this place for a birthday celebration. Unfortunately as a person who is on a bariatric diet and needs to eat high protein low carb, there were not many choices. My husband however was not impressed by the brunch selections that were available. Many things were very high carbohydrate or high sugar. It is not some place that we would choose for ourselves in the future.

The atmosphere and service were great. The food? Soooo overpriced for how mediocre it was.

My friend and I were staying in town for the Antique Fair and out of 4 days, we came in 3 day and one day we came in for lunch AND dinner.

Service was on spec, amazing! You rarely find that nowadays. I love to see people working as team, helping eachother out. It really does keep a good flow going.

The food was spectacular. Always ask for the specials if they havent mentioned them. I swear you cannot go wrong.

I give this place praise because theyve got great quality food and drinks that most other places are currently skimping out on without charging an arm, a leg, and off with your head!

If you're in the area dont think twice about coming in!!!

Had the duck. Very Chewy, asked waitress to have the chef cook it a bit more but really didn’t help. Hubby’s brisket Mac & cheese had no brisket! Great drinks and service. Disappointed in the meals

Excellent restaurant!!! We stopped here on a whim while attending a big event nearby. Wonderful Patrick found us a table for two on a busy Saturday night. Our server, Kimberly was extremely helpful with our menu selections and was wonderfully attentive. Food was amazing!!! Highly recommend.

Maggie is absolutely the sweetest person to work with. After viewing several places, The Barn provided the most for the money.

Mother's Day, classy atmosphere but a really casual dress code. It's come as you are apparently.

Friendly service but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

Then an additional $8/$16 upcharge on the prime rib entree was pure greed considering we're already sitting for a C-note and it was clam-less clam chowder, a very lemony fresh chicken vegetable soup, a couple small salads and a bit of bread and oil. And the main entree you want is EXTRA?

What a rip-off.

Dessert was good, a flourless chocolate torte was excellent, a cheesecake slice was just ok. No real flavor, something about Bailey's

Our server Dan was perfect. We appreciated him but no way this Mother's Day experience at Avellino was worth $160

The Barn at Wight Farm was excellent, and the area was great with plenty of parking available for everyone. The food was spectacular especially the beef dish we chose, which was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very kind and attentive throughout the event. The organization and overall setup of the event were beautiful, and everything came together perfectly.

Traveling through the area, we happened upon this place, looking for a late breakfast! It was the perfect spot, which was evident by the presence of it being filled with locals. The food was delicious and the barista/waitress was very welcoming.

Our first time dining there. We came for early dinner so it wasn't crowded. Nice atmosphere, the waitress was friendly and accommodating. We've chosen the special of the day and enjoyed it very much.

Great venue for small weddings. Food was delicious, I had the filet, mashed potatoes with asparagus.

We were a Sunday brunch walk in at Sunday opening at 10am. They were already busy. We did not have a reservation (who knew? We'd just checked out of our hotel, and saw this nearby in Maps). Both of us had the babka French toast with lemon curd - three large slices and really good dark coffee. The babka is made by a local bakery. It was very well crafted nicely plated, and it was made with a generous amount of poppy seed in the filling.

The rest of the menu is equally impressive and the prices are more than fair for the fare.

If you are in the area, make a reservation and go to have really good eats.

I love this place! Has to be one of the best, or the #1 best, restaurant in Sturbridge IMO. My husband and I go here about every 6 weeks on our Thursday date night and we almost always have a perfect experience.

I love that they change the menu often, and while some of the staples remain, the rest of the menu fluctuates to what the chef wants to create in that season. When we don’t find an entree we want, we pick a few small plates to share instead. I tend to revert to their burger sliders (in which their toppings and ingredients change often) and the house salad with fried goat cheese when I don’t select an entree myself. The fried goat cheese tastes like it’s right out of Paris- please never change this recipe!

It’s clear the chef uses real, fresh, ingredients and you can 100% taste the difference between the food here and any other restaurant in the area. It looks like fine dining with a more modern flair. It feels like the chef is staying up with the trends rather than creating a flat restaurant that just lives the same day over and over. Even the cocktails are fresh and exciting- P.S. I’m obsessed with the “sex panther” margarita you had sometime last year!

Out of the 15 times or so that we’ve been- only 1 of those times did we have bad service, and I attribute that to the young waitress who was probably new or in training. On that 1 occasion she forgot our appetizer, took FOREVER on our drinks- so long that the bartender looked disgruntled when he saw them sitting at the service counter and ran them over to our table himself. Honestly I almost just got up and grabbed them myself lol. Then she charged our card on another tables bill instead of own and disappeared, in which I had to go to the bartender to get the bill fixed. It was so weird- but because we’ve had 14/15 amazing experiences we’ve continued to go back (though I was nervous and just hoped and prayed we didn’t get her again- spoiler, haven’t seen her since). Though if this had been our first experience here we probably wouldn’t have returned.

All in all I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for classy food with high quality ingredients, and unique cocktails.

The Duck is a wonderful restaurant located near Sturbridge, I found them through the local chowder competition I attended! We had a larger party of 9 and our server was swift and extremely knowledgeable, and expectionally accommodating. Although we booked reservations for the duck, we were able to sit in the lower portion of the restaurant due our grandparents not being able to use the stairs.

We LOVED the gorgonzola bread as an app, the drinks were PHENOMENAL, and the atmosphere is one of kind. This is a very family friendly restaurant with lots of tasty options. I wasn't able to get a photo of every meal but I did manage to take a photo of the duck they served. It was tender and delicious. My grandfather absolutely loved the beans so much that our server gave him the recipe from the chef! if you are looking for a local place to host a family dinner, I would definitely recommend!
